Teacher Day 2024
This is my personal project for Vietnamese Teachers' Day, celebrated on November 20. The project captures a metaphorical reflection of our student days—an era when we were young, unaware, and consumed by play, self-centeredness, and innocence. Though we thought we knew much, we were like frogs at the bottom of a well, confined by our limited perspective. As we entered school, we began to gather knowledge and experiences, with our teachers as the ones who planted the seeds in the barren soil of our minds. Over time, those seeds grew into a tree, symbolizing our gradual growth and maturation. Yet, the tree's branches only reach slightly beyond the mouth of the well, a reminder that, though we have made progress, we must continue to develop ourselves, always mindful of the teachers who nurture and support us along the way.
This was also my first time realizing how expensive it can be to render a file with trees and grass assets in C4D when I don't know how to optimize the file probably. This became evident in the final scenes of the animation. I rendered the last shot at a low resolution, planning to upscale it with Topaz, but the quality ended up being too poor and heavily pixelated T.T
